Culver City often gets overshadowed in the bustling Los Angeles scene, but trust me, it’s a treasure trove just waiting for you to explore. You can pack a lot into a single day. I’ve crafted the perfect one-day itinerary for you. Here’s how to enjoy a delightful day in Culver City!
Coffee at Super Domestic Coffee
Not sure about you, but I always kick off my day with a refreshing cup of coffee. Today, I hit up Super Domestic Coffee. I like to keep things nearby since I'm pretty lazy lol. This cozy spot has amazing coffee and tons of cute photos of doggie visitors from the past. (ADORABLE!!)

I decided to try a S'more latte for myself, and it's just right—not too sweet, with a nice, smooth coffee flavor. The café offers all sorts of things, from coffee and candles to mugs. They also have pastries that I grab for lunch. There's no seating inside, but I was in the mood for something quick anyway. If you need a break, there are a few benches outside.

Art at the Wende Museum
After fueling up, I headed over to the Wende Museum, located conveniently in the heart of Culver City. It's about 10 minutes away from the coffee shop. This museum offers a deep dive into the culture and history of the Cold War, featuring an intriguing mix of propaganda art and artifacts from East Germany.
Cold War history might seem boring, but it has fascinating aspects if you approach it with an open mind. One intriguing element is the spy cameras, which must have been difficult to carry for those tasked with secret photography. Admission is free, making it an accessible outing. I spent nearly two hours exploring the exhibits and had a lot of fun. Despite its small size, you'll learn something. Outside, there's a garden offering a space for relaxation.

Afternoon: Shopping at PLATFORM
Next, I indulged in some retail therapy at PLATFORM, a vibrant shopping and dining venue that champions creativity. This open-air space features an impressive lineup of boutique shops and lifestyle brands.
Each store offers something unique, whether it’s an eclectic clothing boutique or artisanal home goods. During my visit, I stumbled upon a quirky shop that specializes in natural organic kitchen & sauce. Whether you’re in the mood for a ice cream or boba tea, PLATFORM makes sure to satisfy every craving.

Evening: Dinner at Restaurant Juliet
As evening rolled around, I headed over to Restaurant Juliet for an amazing dinner. They've got tons of small plates you can munch on while sipping some wine. If you're starving, you can go for a main dish, but honestly, sampling the different small plates is the way to go. I ended up ordering the Duck confit cigars for my main, and they were a bit on the salty side.
But honestly, I totally love the decor and vibe of the restaurant. It's got just the right mix of romance and style, making it a great place for dinner with friends or a romantic night out. To finish off my meal, I indulged in a deliciously rich and creamy dessert—the perfect way to end an awesome day.

Reflections on a Perfect Day
If you're seeking a fun break in Los Angeles, I wholeheartedly recommend Culver City. You can enjoy a delightful mix of coffee, culture, shopping, and dining, all in one day.
If you're a local wanting something new or a visitor excited to uncover LA's hidden spots, this one-day plan is all about fun and good times. So, why not grab a friend and dive into an adventure in Culver City? It's something you definitely don't want to skip!
